Comprehensive Systematic Review Training

04/14/2021 passed the first training module under the comprehensive systematic review program of the JBI Institute, the University of Adelaide, organized by the Karaganda Medical University and the JAMK University of Applied Sciences.

The training is part of the AccelED project (“Accelerating Master and PhD Level Nursing Education Development in the Higher Education System in Kazakhstan”), which is funded by the EU through the Erasmus +, which implements innovative projects to increase capacity and reform higher education.

Karaganda Medical University was represented by Dean of the School of Public Health and Biomedicine Zh.A. Dauletkalieva, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the School of Nursing Education A.R. Aitmagambetov, and PhD students "Public Health" and "Nursing Science" I.B. Meyermanov, F.Kh. Saduyeva, Zh.M. Kuanysh.

The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Comprehensive Systematic Review Training Program enables participants to learn how to conduct robust systematic reviews of different evidence types in order to provide the strongest possible evidence to inform decision making or clinical guidelines in health care.

The training consists of 3 modules and preparation of the protocol:

Module 1: Introduction to Evidence-Based Healthcare and the Systematic Review of Evidence, 14.4.2021

Module 2: The Systematic Review of Evidence Generated through Quantitative Research, 28.4.2021 and 5.5.2021

Systematic review Protocol Preparation: 6.4-1.6.2021

Module 3: The Systematic Review of Evidence Generated by Qualitative Research, Narrative & Text: 2.6.2021 and 9.6.2021
