Two projects of medical students were recognized the best among the competition for student startups and businesses within the Tumar Student Business Challenge.

  The competition was held in April 2021 as part of the “Ecosystem of students’ entrepreneurship” initiative of ERG (Eurasian Group). In total, 106 teams from universities and colleges of Karaganda, Aktobe, Kostanay and Pavlodar competed for the victory. 15 teams were selected as winners.

  Valentina Kuzyakova, Karina Yandutkina, Nazgul Eleuntaeva and Larisa Nurlanbekkyzy presented the “ОЗФАРМ+” project - a social pharmacy. Zhamash Almas, Aruzhan Topa, Dilnaz Temirbaeva and Yerkenaz Isabekkyzy presented the “PharmExpress” project of a local company of vending trade in medical goods and their subsequent disposal. According to the results of the jury's evaluation, the projects were among the best, and the developers themselves will take part in the Entrepreneurial Meetup, which will be held in Nur-Sultan. In addition, all winning teams had the opportunity to join the residents of the “Ecosystem of student entrepreneurship” project, a variety of initiatives and opportunities within the project, including access to training, education, a large Project Knowledge Base, funding and meetings with businessmen and entrepreneurs.

  Asem Kabulova - Project’s Manager of the School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation AlmaU noted that the organizers highly appreciated the work of students to develop their startups and projects. “We are pleased to see how our residents are growing, two years ago they presented ideas at Project Day, and today they are MVP or a full-fledged startup”, - Asem Kabulova concluded.

  Ecosystem of student’s entrepreneurship is an entrepreneurship development program that offers students the opportunity to learn entrepreneurship and also plays an important role in developing the skills and competencies of university and college faculty and staff.

  Ecosystem of student entrepreneurship was launched in March 2017 at the initiative of ERG (Eurasian Group) in partnership with Almaty Management University and the Association of Friends of Tel Aviv University in Kazakhstan.
