Hand-to-hand combat tournament

An open regional hand-to-hand fighting
tournament among boys and girls took place on October 02, 2021 in Karaganda. A
total of 127 athletes took part in the tournament.
The team of the Karaganda Medical University was represented by students Utkina Margarita (group 203 KLD) - weight category - 67 kg, Mirash Aslan (group 1021 GМ) - weight category - 57 kg. In the final match, Utkina Margarita lost to an athlete from a children's sports school and won silver. Mirash Aslan spent 3 fights and finished the competition in fifth place in the standings. Athletes train under the guidance of a coach - teacher Erbolat Kabdrashev.
