PhD, an associate professor of the School of Public Health and Biomedicine Alua Omarova took part in the 14^th European Public Health Conference “Public Health Futures in a Changing World” organized by the European Public Health Association from November 10 to 12, 2021. This conference was attended by 2000 delegates from more than 80 countries of the world.During the conference, A. Omarova made an oral presentation on the topic “Analysis of the Current Situation with WASH in Rural Hospitals”, which aroused great interest among participants and listeners. In addition, A. Omarova participated in various sections and seminars where the critical public health issues to date were discussed, such as the impact of environmental factors and climate change on public health, a healthy lifestyle among children and adults, the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccination against SARS-CoV-2.

Participation in a conference of this scale was an invaluable experience that will be useful for the continuation of our research work.
