On April 13, 2022, representatives of the School of Medicine carried out career guidance work with students in the final grades of schools in the city of Karaganda.

Deputy Dean, part-time head of the educational program Polyakova Elena Olegovna and the 6th year intern Amanzhan Anar told the children that the School of Medicine at the level of higher professional medical education is training in two areas of the educational program «General Medicine»: «General Practitioner» and «Pediatrics».

Schoolchildren learned about the forms and duration of training, the main competitive advantages of the program, as well as the typology and characteristics of the directions «GP», «Pediatrics».

In addition, students received information about the possibilities of academic mobility, practicing clinical skills in simulation rooms, rooms equipped with modern simulators, mannequins, participation in international competitions, grants, scholarships and other events.

All of them are aimed at developing in students not only knowledge and skills, but also the skills of independent and self-directed learning and the implementation of the principle of learning throughout life.
