On September 28-30, 2022, Moscow hosted the XI Congress of the Society for Simulation Education in Medicine and the International Conference “Simulation Education in Medicine: Experience, Development, Innovation.

The organizers of the event were ROSOMED, ​​Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Society of Physicians, System Integrator of Education in Medicine (SINTOMED).

The four-day program covered topical issues of innovative teaching methods in medicine, virtual reality simulations, and the use of artificial intelligence in education and research.

Traditional topics were discussed on the use of simulation technologies in primary and primary specialized accreditation, and continuing medical education. During the conference, in addition to the plenary, round tables, workshops, and seminars were held. Leading manufacturers and suppliers of simulation equipment and software solutions for medical education took part in the traditional exhibition. The format of the event was held in a hybrid format (in offline and online).

The speaker from Kazakhstan was the Head of the Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies of "Karaganda Medical University" Gulshat Kemelova, who in an online speech presented two speeches "Stages in the development of communicative competence: the Medical University of Karaganda experience " and "Territory of emergency conditions" as a way to develop professional competencies.

Speeches by Gulshat Kemelova aroused great interest among the Russian medical community. The teaching staff of our Center took an active part in the online format. All topics of the conference were relevant and interesting.
