A round table discussion of the format of educational programs of continuous integrated medical education (CIME) was held on the basis of NCJSC «Karaganda Medical University».

Representatives of the working group on introduction of the EP of CIME and the working group on development of the EP «Medical and preventive work» were invited as participants. Representatives of 13 Kazakh universities who train specialists in the field of health care attended the roundtable.

Vice-Rector on Strategic Development and International Cooperation of NCJSC «KMU» Riklefs V.P. shared the experience of NCJSC «Karaganda Medical University» in development of programs of continuous integrated medical education (integration of levels).

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Human Resources of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan Mysaev A.O. presented for discussion problem issues of designing programs of continuous integrated medical education.

The participants also discussed the bachelor’s program «Public health» (name, duration of training, competence of graduates), the resolution of the round table.
