Interdisciplinary lesson

On February 10, at the Department of Internal Medicine of NCJSC "Karaganda Medical University" held an interdisciplinary lesson on the topic “Osteoestructive syndrome as an interdisciplinary problem" under the guidance of the professor of the Department of Internal Medicine, MD Ludmila Gennadyevna Turgunova, associate professor, PhD Amirkhanova Dana Talgatovna.

Participants in this event were residents of the following specialties: Adult Hematology, Adult and Pediatric Endocrinology, Adult and Pediatric Rheumatology, Adult and Pediatric Gastroenterology, Adult and Pediatric Nephrology.

The interdisciplinary lesson was held in the format of an interdisciplinary consultation, based on the discussion of real clinical cases and requiring the participation of specialists of different specialties. In the course of this event, two teams were formed from residents of different specialties, which allowed each team to develop a unified interdisciplinary approach to diagnosis, treatment tactics, and prognosis determination.

The interdisciplinary lesson aroused great interest among residents of different specialties, who actively participated in solving clinical situations, enthusiastically engaged in discussing common problems, justified the proposed answers based on modern literature, diagnostic and treatment protocols.

After the session, work was done with the instructors on the errors made in the clinical case analysis. The participants filled out a feedback questionnaire with suggestions and wishes.

In the future, the department also plans to hold events in this format among related specialties, as such teaching methods are aimed at the development of creative, creative, critical thinking, the ability to research, as well as the development of communication skills within an interdisciplinary team.Residents in the specialty "Adult Hematology" - Lysenko A., Selivanov M., Raikhan T., in the specialty "Adult, Pediatric Endocrinology" - Orazbayeva E.A., Kakenova A.K., Zarubaev R.M., Bilyal A.A., Yesenbek M.M., Negmanova A.M.
