On June 5-6, 2023, as part of the "Summer School", 8 students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School (NIS) of the city of Karaganda were trained at the Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies of the Medical University of Karaganda for the Republican Field Olympiad for young geologists to participate in the "Fundamentals of Safety" competition. Under the guidance of the trainer of practical skills Idrisova Gulden, students got acquainted with the rules for providing first aid in case of respiratory and cardiac arrest, fractures, dislocations and bruises, burns, acute poisoning, bites of poisonous snakes and insects using simulation technologies.

To develop practical skills and achieve automatism, interactive mannequin robots, medical equipment and medical products were used, such as Kramer, Diterichs transport tires, pneumatic tires, modern disposable tires for various parts of the body, hemostatic tourniquets, dressings, scarves, antiseptics, etc. P. The NIS administration expresses its gratitude to the leadership of the Medical University of Karaganda and the staff of the Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies for their active participation in organizing and conducting the practical training of students for the Olympiad.
