The work on prevention of religious extremism and terrorism is actively conducted at the Karaganda state medical university during 2012-2014 years. Representatives of information and propaganda group of Spiritual Association of Muslims of Kazakhstan and Agency on affairs of religion of RK regularly meet students of the university. Topical issues of religion, toleration, tolerance are discussed at meetings. Each time it is explained to students that today under religion cover the destructive currents actively conduct the work, which influence can lead to negative consequences. During conversations and meetings representatives of IPG of students urge to respect traditions and values of culture of the Kazakhstan people.

In addition, in the second half of the current academic year on television of the university the corresponding thematic videos were broadcasted.  

In the end of academic year, by first-year students of the Kazakh division of the specialty "General Medicine" (group 131-135), the action was organized, in which students of different years and specialties including students of foreign division took part.

In the final action directed on prevention of religious extremism and terrorism, students created a slogan " Жатдінгежолжоқ! " ("We against nonconventional religious trends"). Creative photographing where this action is imprinted was carried out near to the main educational case of KSMU, on 26.05.2014.
