The master class on "Medical Parasitology" was organized and conducted at the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics, Karaganda State Medical University from 09 to 13 June 2014 in conjunction with the dean Faculty of Continuing Professional Development. Relevance of the subject called and defined by the scientific direction of the department, whose members are involved in to implementation of research projects within the grant funding "Development of methods for drug correction of reproductive health at the molecular-cellular level in helminthic infestation" and "Development of improved ways to treat children and adults with chronic giardiasis at the molecular-cellular level, "as well as the increasing number of parasitic infestations, changing epidemiology of helminthic and protozoan diseases. 

Contingent of students consisted of nursing staff of  hospitals of the region, teachers and college teachers of the department having work experience not less than 5 years. Opening of the master class and presentation of participants was held of the Head of the Department of Biological Sciences, Professor Dr. B.Zh. Kultanov. During the period of the master class, the students attended lectures of Associate Professor, c.b.s., V.V. Britko on topical issues of Medical Parasitology; workshops were held with the demonstration of micro-and macro preparations, c.b.s., senior Lecturer V.N. Kislitskaya, organized workshops on the method of determining of endogenous intoxication and study of crystallogram of associate professor, c.b.s., B.T. Yessilbayeva.

The last day was summed up the day, receive feedback from listeners and participants were awarded certificates of the master class.

The master class was held at a professional level, in a friendly atmosphere in the form of interviews, discussions and exchange of views, participants received detailed information about the topical issues of Medical Parasitology.
