We are IV year students of “Public Health” at Karaganda State Medical University, according to the program of academic mobility we participated in International Summer School of University of Barcelona, Spain from July 20 to 27, 2014.

During International Summer school we have obtained broad information in the field of healthcare. On each session we studied such themes as:

1.  Malignant swelling

2.  Vascular heart diseases

3.  Pandemic of Africa

4.  Global Public Health Surveillance

5.  Statistical methods and PH: an example about TB

6.  Flu Epidemic: new challenges

7.  Health Impact Assessment (HIA): Present and Future  and others

Participation in International Summer School was a good opportunity to share experience with our future colleagues from different countries of the world and adapt into a new environment during the program in the foreign country!

We would like to express our deep gratitude to our university, rector, prof. R.Dosmagambetova for the possibility to participate in academic mobility program which gives an opportunity to share  knowledge, experience in the foreign countries.

We also thank Marс Ruis-Zorrillacoordinator of international programs of the University of Barcelona and academic staff of the university for great skills and knowledge gained from the professors lectures.
