International Environmental Seminar "Less trash" on the program "Young Reporters for Environment."
From October 30 to November 3 the International Environmental Seminar "Less trash" on the program "Young Reporters for Environment" was held in Cascais (Portugal). The seminar was attended by 9 countries: Germany, Latvia, Turkey, Slovakia, Macedonia, Canada, Kazakhstan, Israel and Italy. Our university was represented by the 1st year student of the Faculty of Prophylaxis Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy Irina Gavrilova. Participants were taught the skills of reporter's industry, attended different excursions and got acquainted with the culture and traditions of other countries. In the last day the participants held an action of cleaning the weeds which caused great damage to the native plants in Portugal. All participants were awarded certificates.
