On New Year’s eve the department of educational and social work together with a theatrical group of KSMU prepared a charitable action the "Hospital clowns" within the frameworks of the project "Doctor Felix".

"Hospital clowns" is a new direction in the system rehabilitation of children by creation of positive emotions by means of facilities of hospital clownery.This type of children rehabilitation with heavy diseases is widely used in the world.The method has the scientifically proven positive influence on the health of children.For example, in Russia the use of the hospital clowns is approved by leading medical establishments of country.

Patients of  the Children’s Department of PSF "Makazhanov’s Regional center of traumatology and orthopaedy " were visited by Father Frost and  Snow Maiden and also favourite hero of the Kazakh folk tales–Таzsha-bala.Little patients were very happy to see Father Frost and beautiful Snow Maiden, but mischievous Таzsha-bala at once became the darling of the people.The children loudly laughed looking at the tricks of merry mischief. We did not do without reciting traditional verses for Father Frost.Children recited, sang the songs, danced and every child got the new-year gift from kind Father Frost.Children did not want fairy-tale personages to leave, and Father Frost promised to come back next year and the children promised keep healthy.

Nobody was neglected by Father Frost, Snow Maiden and tomboy Таzsha-bala.A photo was taken with every child of department as mementos.All children got a lot of positive emotions, energy boost and piece of the new-year fairy-tale.We hope it will positively affect their general well-being.
