Аcceptance of grant documents

ACCEPTANCE OF DOCUMENTS FOR AWARDING EDUCATIONAL GRANTS IN KAZAKHSTAN WILL START FROM JULY 16

  Acceptance of documents for participation in the competition for awarding educational grants will begin on July 16. It will be carried out electronically.

  In order to protect the health of applicants and their parents, virtual admissions committees will also work at universities, which will advise applicants via video communication.

  Applicants can participate in the competition with one of two results of the UNT, which was held in the period from May 6 to July 1.

  When applying, applicants must attach electronic copies of the certificate, appendices to the certificate and a 3×4 digital photo in the form of an electronic document, as well as copies of other supporting documents.

  If the applicant is the owner of "Altyn belgi" or awarded a badge of distinction for patriotism and active citizenship, then he has a preferential right with equal points. The winners of Olympiads and sports competitions have a similar advantage. In order for such achievements to be taken into account, it is necessary to attach copies of supporting documents when submitting documents. If there is an international certificate confirming proficiency in a foreign language, the applicant indicates the name of the international language certificate, the score and attaches the electronic certificate.

  This year, when distributing educational grants, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the first time allocated quotas for socially vulnerable segments of the population. Now children from large or single-parent families, as well as those applicants whose families raise children with special needs, will have more chances to receive a grant.

  Children from families with four or more minor children were allocated 5% of the total number of grants, children from single – parent families with this status for at least three years-1%, children from families raising children with disabilities of groups I and II are provided with 1% of educational grants.

  Applicants who have scored at least 65 points according to the results of the UNT will be able to apply for grants in national universities. "Pedagogical sciences" – at least 75 points, "Healthcare" - at least 70 points," Agriculture and bioresources"," Veterinary Medicine " − at least 60 points, to other universities – at least 50 points. At the same time, it is necessary to score at least 5 points for each subject of the UNT and (or) creative exam.
