Security Service of NCJSC “KMU”

Tasks:

Implementation of the University’s common security policy. Ensuring public order on the territory of the University. Control over the established requirements of the access control regarding the students, University employees and individuals staying temporarily at the University. Organization and security of University’s facilities and material values by security agency employees. Ensuring the safety and protection of the students, employees and visitors of the University from criminal and other unlawful infringements. Elimination of conditions contributing to criminal and other infringements, including terrorist attacks in the premises of the University. Ensuring fire-prevention and information security of the protected facilities.

The goals of the Department:

·  ensuring anti-terrorist protection of employees and facilities of NCJSC “KMU”;

·  organization of constant monitoring at the facilities and University’s territory, protection of material values of the University from embezzlement;

·  maintenance of public order, protection of life and health of students, University employees and other individuals in the premises, buildings and on the territory of the University;

·  organization of access control, control over its observance by students, employees and other individuals on the territory and facilities;

·  control over compliance with the rules of entry (exit) of cars and other technical means to the territory of the University and parking rules;

·  monitoring the status of the following systems: security alarm system, automatic fire alarm system, video surveillance, access control system, and immediate response in case of their activation;

·  monitoring, detection and elimination of factors negatively affecting the security and performance of the information and communication infrastructure of the University;

·  organization of cooperation with security forces of the district, city in case of emergency;

·  consulting, within their competence, the heads of structural subdivisions, officials of the University on security issues.
