The Institute of Public Health and Professional Health of NСJSC "Karaganda Medical University"and Republican Public Organization «Association of Occupational Pathologists» invites you to take part in a scientific and practical conference with international participation «PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE AND MEDICAL ECOLOGY», which is scheduled on November 2 – 3, 2023.

The main directions of the conference:

1.  Current issues of sanitary and epidemiological service in the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

2.  Issues of preservation of health of the working population.

3.  Improvement of the legal framework on the issues of labor protection, preventive medicine, hygiene regulation and control of industrial and environmental factors.

4.  Current problems of environmental pollution and medical ecology.

5.  Innovative methods for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of patients with occupational and work-related diseases.

6.  Issues of controlled use of chrysotile asbestos and problems of studying chrysotile asbestos and asbestos-related diseases.

7.  Innovations and ways of improvement of the educational program «Medical and preventive care» and «Occupational medicine».

Within the framework of the conference it is planned to hold:

-  Round table on the topic: «ORGANIZATION OF MEDICAL CARE FOR WORKERS OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES IN THE PRESENT CONDITIONS»

-  Workshop «CURRENT ISSUES OF MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL SUITABILITY».

Conference languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.

  Certificates will be issued to the participants of the conference.

To participate in the conference, it is necessary to send the following materials to the Organizing Committee by October 16, 2023 (with one set of documents named by the first author’s surname) to the email address:  Shadetova@qmu.kz

1. application for participation in the conference (the form is attached);

2. abstracts (doc*) (electronic versions, terms are attached).

The report in the State or Russian or English languages (in electronic version) should be received by the Organizing Committee of the conference by October 16, 2023 at the email address: Shadetova@qmu.kz

Requirements for the design of publications

1. Abstracts of no more than 2 A4 pages should be printed on one side of a standard sheet of paper, font Times New Roman, KzTimes NewRoman, font size 14, with margins at the top and bottom 2 cm, left 3 cm, right 1.5 cm, with  single line spacing. The first line should contain the article’s UDC, the second line should contain the authors’ full names (no more than fve)*. On the third line – the title of the abstract (in capital letters), on the fourth line – the name of the institution, city**. At the end of the abstract should be indicated the addresses and phone numbers of all authors with the indication of surname, first name, email address.  No more than 3 abstracts from one author are accepted for publication.

* FULL NAME of the author(s) is indexed with the place of work of each - A.V. Vitavskaya¹, N.I. Ponomareva², G.K. Altynbayeva³

2. Abstracts should have a visa of the head of the department, organization for the right to publish.

3. Abbreviations of words, names, titles, except for common abbreviations, are not allowed. Units of measurement are given according to the International System of Units.

4. The materials will be available in the collection of the scientific and practical conference with international participation "PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE AND MEDICAL ECOLOGY" by the method of blind copying, therefore abstracts are accepted only in carefully edited form in compliance with all the above-mentioned requirements.

5. It is not allowed to send to the Organizing Committee of the conference the works previously published or sent to other editions for publication.

6. The Organizing Committee and the Editorial Board reserve the right to select abstracts for publication.
