The event was also attended by representatives of the Ministries of Health of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, representatives of the National Association «Primary Health Care», as well as medical universities of the country.
During the event, the following issues were discussed:
1. How Primary Health Care Promotes Universal Health Coverage and the Health-Related Sustainable Development Goals
2. The role of Central Asian countries in contributing to the strengthening of Primary Health Care in the world
3. How is it possible to support the implementation of the Operational Framework for Primary Health Care in the world at the national level, etc.
Askar said that, taking part in this event, he learned about the innovative tools needed by PHC specialists, met with representatives of professional communities working in the interests of health care, social justice through the prism of PHC. Askar is now ready to share his knowledge and put it into practice.
