Master’s students final attestation

Whole number of master students were admitted to final attestation is 43persons and they successful passed the First stage of Final attestation – Complex Testing.  Complex Examination was held on 13.05.2015.

Admission to the second stage of the Final attestation, have received the master’s students who studied on the following specialties: 20 students of 6М110100 «Medicine» (scientific and pedagogic courses), 3 students of 6М110500 «Medical and Preventive Care» (profession oriented, scientific and pedagogic courses), 14 students of 6М110200 «Public Health» (profession oriented, scientific and pedagogic courses) and 4 students of 6М110400 «Pharmacy» (scientific and pedagogic courses).

In accordance with SOSE on post-graduation education and Standard regulations of trainees final attestation holding, necessary tests showed the content disciplines of obligatory component of the base and selection disciplines were prepared.

Second stage is Defense of master dissertation which was held on 09-22.06.2015.

The students have to prepare graduate thesis in a binder, a short essay in Kazakh, Russian and English languages, should receive the favorable report of the supervisor; they should have no less than one publication on dissertation theme in the scientific editions or speech on scientific conference and they should have a certificate of inspection for plagiarism, for defense of master's thesis.  In addition, undergraduates have to obtain a review on the thesis and positive solutions of departments and scientific and expert committees on the recommendation of dissertations for defense.

41 theses was presented for the defense and successfully defended on the following specialties:

6M110100- Medicine (scientific and pedagogic courses).

6M110200- Public Health (profession oriented, scientific and pedagogic courses).

6M110500- Medical and preventive care (profession oriented, scientific and pedagogic courses).

6M110400- Pharmacy (scientific and pedagogic courses).

All the theses were highly evaluated by the state certifying committee and approved by the presented experts and rated as "excellent" and "good." Defense of scientific papers was carried out in Kazakh and Russian languages.

In the closing remarks of the chairmen of the SAC noted the high quality of all master's theses, thanked for a responsible approach to training throughout the master's course and wished the graduates success and move up in the career confidently.
