First winter run.

On December 5, Sport club of KSMU with the Department of Physical Education and SR "Samruk" organized the first winter field and track run for the students of Karaganda State Medical University dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

The objective of the event was the improvement of healthy lifestyle of students. About 300 students, activists of the Ministry of Sport SR "Samruk" and teachers of the department of physical education participated in the race. As a surprise for the participants became the fact that the run for the first time took place in the winter.

Academic dean V.B. Molotov - Luchansky opened the Ist student winter run. Head of sport club of KSMU F.A.Batirov and senior teachers of department of physical education L.M. Zhukova, R.B. Timershin and D.D. Mukushev awarded all winners.
Upon completion of the tournament all prize-winners were awarded the honorary diploma and got valuable prizes with the KSMU’s logo.
