To the 3rd
anniversary of the project “Rukhani Zhangyru”, the debate tournament “Modern
Kazakhstani culture in the global world” was held at JSC “KMU”. The tournament
was in 3 languages: Kazakh, Russian and English. Two teams, for and against the
Q-pop culture, provided all kinds of arguments for the positive and negative
aspects of modern Kazakhstani culture that excited young people. The convincing
arguments of both teams were heard by the judiciary board. In this war of words
and ideas, victory was awarded to the team the affirmative. The best speaker
was a student Bauken Urinbayev. Diplomas and valuable gifts were given to the
winners of the tournament.
