On April 18, 2024, Karaganda Medical University hosted a presentation of the new book "Shakarim", dedicated to the great Kazakh thinker Shakarim Kudaiberdiuly by the scientist Doctor Aliakparov Makash Tynyshtykbaevich.

In this work, the world of Shakarim was depicted in the genre of painting and combined in the art of words.

Author of the book: Makash Tynyshtykpaevich Aliakparov – doctor of Medical Sciences, rector of Karaganda Medical University from 1989 to 2001, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, abayologist, shakarimologist, one of the authors of the monuments "Otan korgaushylar" in Astana, "Metallurgists" in Temirtau, "Independence" and "Abay" in Karaganda.

In order to study the life and worldview of Abai and Shakarim, M. T. Aliakparov made four trips to the Semey region with the expedition "In the footsteps of Shakarim". The expedition carried out its work at its own expense. The expedition, which took place in 2023, contributed to the publication of Shakarim's book.

Alikparov M. T. is not only one of the first to draw the image of Shakarim, but also a unique talent who was able to convey the soul and philosophy of the great thinker with an artistic sense.

M. T. Aliakparov is a person who was in constant spiritual contact with the great poet Shakarim’s son Akhat. Akhat aksakal, who asked to portray two great personalities from the Qunanbai dynasty, and the fate that succeeded him was a historical connection that gave a new breath to the artist's work.

From 1975 to the present day, more than 200 works of M. T. Aliakparov have been published, of which more than 60 are dedicated to Shakarim. These paintings were created in Makash Tynyshtykpayevich's personal gallery of paintings of a personative nature, reflecting the world of Abai and Shakarim.

Representatives of all universities and regional and city libraries of Karaganda, the chairman of the Board of the Union of artists of Karaganda region, the resource language center of the Department for the development of languages, the director and students of the gymnasium named after Shakarim Kudaiberdiuly, the teaching staff and students of the Medical University took part in the event.

Deputy Akim of the region, E. B. Kusainov, gave a speech at the beginning of a wonderful evening organized by Languages Development Center, and presented a "Certificate of Honor" to M. Aliakparov on behalf of the Akim of the region.

Makash Tynyshtykbayevich's contemporaries, colleagues who worked at the university, who were invited as honored guests of the evening, shared their beautiful memories.

The whole evening was decorated with songs by the singer of the Karaganda Concert Association named after Kali Baizhanov Serzhan Musayyn, a 2nd year student of the Karaganda Tattimbet College of Arts Abai Shoymanov, a student of the UNESCO music school of Karaganda Zere Kalken and a 2nd year student of Karaganda Medical University Yerbolat Orynbasar and the folk oriental dance ensemble of the University "Karakoz".

M. Aliakparov developed his hobby from childhood – painting for many years, along with his main profession, since 1994 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The guest of the evening, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Artists of the Karaganda region Kalmakhanov Aidarkhan Seitmakhanovich awarded Makash Tynyshtykpaevich with the Order of Honor "90 years of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
