Our assistance to victims

This spring was a severe experience for the population of Karagandy region. The wave of floods covered more than 1,000 private homes of the region. Rescuers urgently evacuated about 5000 people.Population of Abay, Karkaraly, Nura, Bukhar Zhyrau and Ulytay region suffered from meltwater.

Trucks and helicopters with food, bedding, warm blankets, clothing, rubber boots and carpets were sent to the flooded areas.

From 14.04 till now day-and-nightduty is conducted by the doctors of the regional ambulance station in the village G.Mustafina (former village Tokarevka),where by the joint efforts of rescue services and local authorities, has been made a complete evacuation of the population, numbering 1,800. Medical help has been provided to 40 victims.

The staff of Karaganda State Medical University was not indefferent, they took an active part in eliminating the consequences of floods.

The head of the department of ambulance and emergency medical aid #2, doctor of the emergency aid of the highest category –Gaukhar Sovetovna Zhumabekova made a flight on the helicopter of the Departmentof Emergency Situationsto the Buharzhyrau region, Yntymak village to provide medical help  to the victims. 12 people (including 1 child) from 99 evacuees were examined in the hostel  of Yntymak hydroelectric reservoir. 8 of them were provided emergency medical care, 4 people were consulted.

All the April through via line of emergencies  in the village G. Mustafina to provide medical assistance to the victims were held noctidial duty by mobile teams of the Regional station of the ambulance emergency aid. On one of such duty on the 30.04.2015 as part of a mobile team the  assistant of the department of ambulance and emergency medical aid #2, doctor of the emergency aid of the highest category –Marina Anatolyevna Kim visited  the village G.Mustafina, where she provided medical help to 8 victims of the flooded village.
