A New Experience from Virginia

On May 6-8, 2019 a teacher-researcher of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and social-political disciplines Akhmetova Guldana Yegeubayevna had presented «Medical Students’ Experiences of a Project Design»report at the IAFOR conference on Educational Research and Innovation-2019 at the Technical University of Virginia (USA). This study is a result of a pilot project on implementation a project-based learning in the framework of “Rukhani zhangyru” program. She acted as a session chair as well.

On May 20, 2019 Guldana Yegeubayevna has presented and shared with the results of the pilot project in the frame of realization of the “Modernization of Public Consciousness” program as well as with conference results with the colleagues at the Department of History of Kazakhstan and social-political disciplines. During discussion, a new approach in conducting students individual work which will be employed in other disciplines from September was revealed.
