Monitoring of university hostels is initiated by the youth wing “Jas Otan” of the “Nur Otan” party, together with the compliance office of the university, on the basis of instructions from the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the “Nur Otan” party N.А. Nazarbayev dated August 21, 2019, and as part of the implementation of the university's plan for anti-corruption monitoring.

The subject of monitoring of hostels is to identify violations in the process of settling students, assess living conditions and provide residents with the necessary equipment for a distance learning format.

The monitoring group, consisting of activists of youth wing “Jas Otan” of the Karaganda region, inspected 2 hostels of the Medical University. During the campaign, hostels were inspected, and meetings with residents were organized.

Yerzhan Khamitov, chairman of the Karaganda regional youth wing “Jas Otan” of the “Nur Otan” party, noted that the living conditions in the hostels of the Medical University are at a good level. “The necessary work is being carried out to ensure order, repair buildings, create the necessary conditions for distance learning. The necessary sanitary standards are observed. During the meetings with residents, comments were not identified. Such monitoring will acquire a permanent basis”, - said E.Khamitov.

It is worth noting that the university has a quarterly commission for monitoring living conditions in university hostels.
