Dissemination of innovative teaching technologies

In order to widely inform about the results of the "TAME" ERASMUS + project from February 1 to February 12, 2021, Karaganda Medical University conducted training in the cycle "Case-based Learning as an educational strategy" for teachers of medical universities form Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan ), Georgia (Batumi), as well as for  staff  of the "Semey Medical University", "Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov "and " National Neurosurgical Center "(Nur-Sultan) in the amount of 25 people.

 Leading trainers of Karaganda Medical University V.P. Riklefs, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, G.S. Kemelova, director of CSЕT, E.Kh. Batyaeva, Assistant Professor of the Department of Morphology and Physiology, MS Serikova, Assistant Professor of the Department of Family Medicine, clearly demonstrated the experience of Karaganda Medical University in the use of a virtual patient in the educational process. The training included face-to-face and distance components. As part of the training, students develop a CBL implementation strategy, clinical cases with a virtual patient on OpenLab, guidelines for the CBL training method.

Seminar participants can review the seminar content at any time on the Padlet web platform, which also allows for timely feedback from seminar attendees.

Upon completion of the training, the staff expressed their deep gratitude for the responsiveness of the lecturers, for the availability of materials and for constant feedback.
