On April 13, as part of the activities of the “Парасатжолы” center, a meeting of university students with the head of the “Adaldyq alany” Project - Freelance Adviser to the Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan on anti-corruption issues, Chairman of the Republican youth organization “Жарасым” at the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Timur Gabdulovich Dzhumurbaev was held. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Compliance Office of Karaganda Medical University, the “Самрук” Students’ Republic, and the “Sanaly Urpaq” students’ club.

  Welcoming the meeting participants, Timur Gabdulovich drew attention to the importance of the principles of honesty and integrity in the educational environment.

“Formation of an anti-corruption culture, minimization and elimination of corruption risks, provision of a respectable academic environment for educational institutions in Kazakhstan today is becoming one of the priority tasks. All participants in the educational process should implement this task, but first of all, student youth, as the foundation for the introduction of innovations”, - the speaker noted.

  During the meeting, the speaker was asked questions about the planned projects of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the area of combating corruption, about the importance of youth participation in such projects.

“As part of the activities of the project office “Adaldyq alany” of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, significant work is being carried out to open up the activities of the ministry and its subordinate organizations. Today, it is very important for the leadership of the ministry that the work is as transparent as possible, so that everyone can get an answer to the question of interest”, - concluded Dzhumurbaev T.G.

  The speaker has also noted the work of the Karaganda Medical University on the formation of an anti-corruption culture, the implementation of important projects and the activities of the Compliance Office, which became one of the first in the country in the field of higher education.

  Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on joint work of the project office “Adaldyq alany” of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the Compliance Office and students’ organizations of the university, aimed at creating an anti-corruption culture among the population.
