On July 13, 2023, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Non-Commercial Joint Stock Company "Medical University of Karaganda" and LLP "Karaganda Pharmaceutical Complex".

 General Director of LLP "KPC" Baron Sergey Leonidovich visited the research center of the University as part of his visit. He noted that within the framework of the signed memorandum, it is planned to implement joint research projects and work in the field of drug development, and also expressed the hope that the university will take a leading role in the landscape of regional education and training of highly qualified personnel - pharmacists, technologists, biologists for pharmaceutical production, as well as specialists in validation, registration, pharmacovigilance and clinical trials.

The Chairman of the Board, Rector Turmukhambetova Anar Akylbekovna noted that KFK LLP is the flagship of the Pharmaceutical Industry in the city of Karaganda and a unique production site for the region for the production of socially significant biological, orphan medicines, where, within the framework of the memorandum, students of the university are given opportunities for internships and internships, implementation of scientific projects. During the meeting, the parties also agreed on areas of cooperation in the field of the educational process, in particular, that highly professional specialists of «KFС» LLP will be invited to conduct guest lectures, master classes, seminars, which will help improve the professional competencies of students; it is planned to organize and conduct joint events (symposiums, seminars, round tables and conferences).

We hope that this Memorandum will be the beginning of close and productive interaction between the Medical University of Karaganda and the Karaganda Pharmaceutical Complex in various priority areas of medical and pharmaceutical education, science and practice.
