From 25^th to 28^th of November on the eve of the 60-year anniversary of the Regional Ambulance Station of Karaganda, the Department of Ambulance and Emergency Medical Care #1 conducted a master class on "Topical issues of emergency care”.

The purpose of the master class was teaching innovative methods of diagnosis and providing emergency care to patients at the prehospital stage.

The tasks set before carrying out training have been achieved. For example such tasks as the presentation of modern aspects of the etiology, pathogenesis, classification, clinic and emergency care at the most frequent urgent conditions in the practice of emergency doctor, as well as teaching listeners basic actions for providing emergency care.

Interactive teaching methods were applied in the work of master class. In the Center of practical skills of KSMU, the audience had an opportunity to get acquainted with high-tech mannequin Sim Men, work out practical skills of terminating obstructive syndrome, laryngoscopy technique, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, technique of taking ECG in conditions close to reality.

Upon completion of training, listeners of the master class gained a full understanding of innovative methods of diagnosis and emergency care; principles, basic aspects of measures for providing emergency care at a prehospital stage during emergency conditions.

Certificates were given out to listeners at the end of the master class. In the form of handouts, a teaching aids "Emergency conditions in the practice of emergency doctor" authored by A.R. Alpyssova were given as a gift to participants.

Learners were invited to a gala concert dedicated to the anniversary of the Regional Ambulance Station of Karaganda.
