On December 23,  the department of educational and social work together with the dean's offices of faculties of General Medicine and Preventive Medicine organized the students folk-festival "We are different, we are equal, we are together!" , sanctified to celebration of the 23 anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The guests of festival were met by the participants of dancing collectives "Karakoz" and "Golden Step" dressed in the national costumes of people inhabiting our country (Kazakh, Russian, Uzbek, Korean, Azerbaijanian.). Beautiful melodies,fire dances, interesting traditions and ceremonies - guests from the first steps were dipped in the atmosphere of variety of cultural  traditions of people of Kazakhstan.

"Exhibition of national dishes" in the hall of ground floor gave possibility to all persons to estimate cuisines of different people.The main feature of exhibition was a condition, that every cuisine  was presented exactly by the students of this ethnos.So the guests of festival had the rare opportunity in one place and in one time to estimate culinary masterpieces of Ukrainian, Turkish, Russian, Tatar, Uzbek, Azerbaijanian, Indian, Chechen-Ingush, Tadjik and Kazakh cuisines prepared in due form and in all traditional canons of national cuisine.

  The festive concert program with participation of soloists and creative teams of the university (Zhasur Salakhiddinov, Nurlyaiym Baynazar, folk bellydance group "Karakoz", vocal group of choir, dombra orchestra) became final part of festival.Our guests couldn’t stand aside -Violet Fox (Turkish ethno-cultural association) sang the Turkish-song, Sergey Degtjarev (Jewish ethno - cultural associations) played beautiful solo with the saxophone, Zhansaya Nurmagambetova (Korean ethno-кultural association) sang two Korean songs.Incendiary “Lezginka” performed by the students of medical college with song "It is Caucasus" became a real hit of the festive concert.

  After completion of the festive event the academic dean V.B.Molotov-Luchansky expressed gratitude to the department of educational and social work for wonderful organization of event  and solemnly handed the certificates and the letters of appreciation to every participant of festival.
