On December 12, 2014 on the eve of Independence Day of Kazakhstan an open extracurricular activities on the theme "Zheltoksan is our pride, honor and conscience" was organized and held by the students of KSMU medical college of the group 201 CNB in the hostel №4.

The main purpose of the event was a review of all the achievements of Kazakhstan's independence, to recall the historical stages on the path to success, to awaken students' patriotic feelings and give tribute to all those young heroes who gave their lives for the sake of the sovereignty of our country.

The beginning of advisory was accompanied by the presentation "Zheltoksan is our pride, honor and conscience." The December events of 1986 in Almaty were the first mass Kazakh youth movement against Soviet totalitarianism and the awakening of consciousness of the masses. The theatrical performance about Kairat Ryskulbekov’s life, the fighter for independence of Kazakhstan, did not leave any spectators apathetic.

Organizers with their creative performance showed that the acquisition of independence was a symbol of a strong, dynamic and free country.
