The master class on "Medical Parasitology" was organized and conducted at the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Geneticsin Karaganda State Medical University from January 26 to 302015 in conjunction with the dean of the Faculty of Continuous Professional Development. Relevance of the subject was called and defined by the scientific direction of the department, whose members are the performers of research projects within the grant funding "Development of methods for drug correction of reproductive health at the molecular-cellular level in helminthic infestation" and "Development of improved ways to treat children and adults with chronic giardiasis at the molecular-cellular level, "as well as the increasing number of parasitic infestations, changing epidemiology of helminthic and protozoan diseases. The contingent of listeners consisted of nursing staff of medical institutions of the region, teachers of KSMU medical college, Karaganda, Kokshetau, Dzhezkazgan medical colleges,teachers of departments of the KSU and KSMU with less than 5 years experience.

Opening of the master class and presentation of participants were held by the Head of the Department of Biological Sciences, Professor Dr. B.Zh. Kultanov. During the master class, the students attended lectures of Associate Professor, D.b.S., V.V. Britko on topical issues of Medical Parasitology. Workshops were held with the demonstration of micro-and macro preparations. Workshops were organized on the method of determining of endogenous intoxication and study of crystallogram  by c.b.s., senior Lecturer V.N. Kislitskaya.

The last day was summed up feedback from listeners was received and participants were awarded certificates of the master class.

The master class was held at a professional level, in a friendly atmosphere in the form of interviews, discussions and exchange of views. Participants received detailed information about the topical issues of Medical Parasitology.
