Every third Sunday of May World Health Organization conducts World Memory Day of AIDS Victims.On this day people in the whole world  remember all those who was carried  away by this dreadful disease.On May 15, the Department of youth affairs together with Association of medical students of Kazakhstan, debate club"Insight" and scientific sector of CSSG have carried out the action "Day of Memory" in the hall of 1st floor of the University.

  The aim of the event is to draw students attention to the problem of the growing of HIV/AIDS threat in the world and social support for HIV positive patients.

  In the day of memory there is tradition of sewing of Quilts - the patchwork pictures on textile, sanctified to the dead people memory."Linen of memory" is sewn together from quilts by the students of КSMU with wishes and signatures were hung out on the event.Anyone could tie the red ribbon on symbolic "Tree of memory" as a token of solidarity to the another’s loss."Red ribbon" is a symbol of motion against this illness.

  Representatives of PSGE "Karaganda regional center for AIDS prevention" was conducted the thematic quiz with prizes for the students of КSMU.
