On behalf of the Department of Science and Human Resources of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan there was held the competition "The best graduates of medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan 2015" on 25-26^th of May, 2015 on the basis of Karaganda State Medical University.

The main purpose of the competition was to increase the prestige of the medical profession, the development of scientific and clinical potential, the identification of talented, creative graduates.

  According to the Regulation of MHSD of the RK the competition consisted of three stages: testing, assessment of practical skills (in the form of an objective structured clinical examination), the presentation of the contestants their own research project on one of the urgent problems of medicine.

 According to the results of competition among the best graduates of medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2015 was Anastasia Rogovaya who is a graduate of the Medical University of Astana. Elnara Efendiyeva who is a graduate of the Semipalatinsk State Medical University and Alik Kubaev who is a graduate of Karaganda State Medical University were awarded the second place. The third place went to Kamila Kurbanova from the West Kazakhstan State Medical University named after M. Ospanov, Darkhan Kuatbekov from the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov and Baurzhan Bertayev from the Multiple-discipline Kazakh-Turkish University named after Ahmed Yasawi.

All participants were awarded with certificates and gifts.
