Dissemination of innovative teaching technologies

In the "Medical University of Karaganda" from September 28 to October 20, 2020 within the framework of the World Bank project "Improving the quality of medical education at the Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali ibni Sino” online training is conducted for the teaching staff of TSMU in the amount of 19 people.

The program of the seminar "Case-based Learning as an educational strategy" is aimed at the transfer of knowledge and skills required by teachers of medical universities for successful career development in the field of medical education, the application of modern theories, concepts and technologies in solving specific problems using Case-Based Learning technology (CBL).

The leading trainers of the program are Victor Ricklefs, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Gulshat Kemelova, Director of the Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies, Anel Beysenayeva, Associated Professor of the Oncology and Radiation Diagnostics Department, Yelena Batyaeva, Assistant Professor of the Morphology and Physiology Department, Maya Serikova, Assistant Professor at the Family Medicine Department.

As part of the training, all fellows develop a CBL implementation strategy, clinical cases with a virtual patient on OpenLab, and guidelines for the CBL training method.
