Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs E.O. Polyakova and Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases A.A. Knaus held explanatory conversations for students of the School of Medicine on preventive measures and the procedure for dealing with suspected COVID-19.

Lectures were given in online format for the students of the School, detailed facts about coronavirus and how to minimize the risk of contracting this infection. The students were listed the main symptoms, they told about the way of transmission, the stages and severity of the disease were shown.

There is also explained that the most important thing you can do to protect yourself - is to keep clean hands and surfaces, try not to touch the mouth, nose or eyes with unwashed hands, carry sanitizer, so that we can clean up our hands in any situation.

Recommendations were also given on actions to be taken if someone in the family or classmates fell ill with a viral infection.

It is very important for us that our students continue their studies in a friendly, respectful and safe environment. Therefore, sharing reliable information based on scientific evidence about COVID-19 has helped to reduce fears and anxieties about the disease and to cope with the secondary effects caused by the epidemic.
