Karkaraly tour.
On September 17-19 on the weekend a trip to Karkaraly took place. Students, residents and even young doctors who are lovers of the history and nature of our region and also healthy lifestyle were part of our small group of 9 people . In three incomplete days we made 4 small hikes in the mountains including a visit to the picturesque Pool lake where we could admire the boundless expanses of Saryarka and also walked through the autumn Karkaralinsky forest.
We also visited the recently erected monument to representatives of the Kazakh intelligentsia before entering Karkaraly where a mini lecture was held on the history of the Alash movement and its ideological leader Alikhan Bukeikhanov. According to the feed back of participants this trip was very interesting and eventful for all of us!
