The best Anti-Corruption Project

On November 2, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the “Best Anti-Corruption Project” competition in the “Antikor Ortalygy” building. This event was organized by the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Anti-Corruption Service) of the Karaganda region and the “Сарыарқа – адалдықалаңы” project’s office. The winner of the competition was the project "Academic Integrity" presented by the 7th year intern, Kamasheva Gulnara. The project of the students of the Academy “Bolashaq” was also noted.

It should be noted that the competitive works were selected by an expert group from among the competent representatives of the Department, the project’s office and youth non-governmental organizations. The winners of the competition were determined in accordance with such criteria as the social significance of the project and the manifestation of the author's creative characteristics.

Gulnara's project involves uniting the efforts of universities in our region in terms of creating a single council, the regional club “Sanaly Urpaq”, consolidating the efforts of all student clubs of universities, introducing the principles of the League of Academic Integrity and conducting cross-external anti-corruption monitoring.

First Deputy Head of the Department Askhat Orazkhan congratulated the winners of the competition, and also presented a diploma and a money certificate.
