Successful Olympiad

From 25th to 26th of March, the Republican MEDUSE Olympiad on the basic medical disciplines and practical skills in full-time format at the Medical University of Astana took place. The combined team of students of 3-6 courses of "General Medicine" specialty: Kapanova Ayana 4-018 group, Budzevich Valentina 3-035 group, Oralova Dinara 4-031 group, Kalibekova Karlygash 6-040 group, Tolegen Asem 6-033 group and Miroshnichenko Anna 6-052 group went to defend the honor of our university. Responsible for the preparation of participants - trainer practical skills Timahovich M.V. Teachers Shmakov A.S. and Tusupbekova K.T. also participated in the preparation of students.

The Republican Olympiad was held in 3 stages. In the first round the whole team took part, the students had to demonstrate theoretical knowledge on basic medical sciences - physiology, pathological anatomy, pathological physiology, pharmacology in the form of testing. In the second round, students demonstrated practical skills in pulmonology, obstetrics and gynecology, and interpreted electrocardiogram. The third round consisted of three parts, where participants were offered a crossword puzzle, puzzles and quiz on various medical disciplines.

Our beautiful participants brilliantly demonstrated knowledge and practical skills and deservedly won III place on the results of the Republican Olympiad.

We are proud of our students and hope that this victory is a guarantee of their successful work as doctors. We wish them in their future life to fight and to look, to find and not to give up!
