The winner in the nomination "The Best Mentor of Working Youth" of the republican stage of the contest "Yenbek Zholy" was Nurkassi Abatov – Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor, Chief Surgeon of the Clinic of the NCJSC "Karaganda Medical University".

The ceremony of awarding the winners of the annual republican contest "Yenbek Zholy" among labor dynasties and production workers had taken place within the framework of the forum dedicated to Labor Day. The Forum was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duisenova, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Svetlana Zhakupova, chief executive officers of state authoritites, representatives of NCE "Atameken", republican associations of employees and employers, local executive authorities, international organizations, social partners, labor veterans.

The contest was held in two stages – at the regional and republican levels in three nominations: "The Best Labor Dynasty" (the largest dynasty with the longest work experience and the largest number of awards); "The Best Mentor of Working Youth" (the most highly effective mentor with at least 20 years of experience); "The Best Young Production Worker" (the most active and hardworking production worker with no more than 5 years of work experience).

At the Forum, the Deputy Prime Minister also awarded four labor veterans with the “Yenbek ardageri” medal, including Gulzhan Mershenova, a professor of the Department of Family Medicine at the Karaganda Medical University.

As Tamara Duisenova noted in her welcoming speech to the Forum participants, meetings in honor of Labor Day have already become a good tradition. They are held not only to congratulate the winners of the contest, but also to express once again the words of gratitude and respect to a hard worker:  builder and  power engineer,  grain grower and cattle farmer,  pilot and  railway worker,  cook and  gardener; those who treat and save lives, teach and educate our children, warm our homes, protect our sleep. These are the 9 million people of Kazakhstan, whose daily painstaking, sometimes hard work is writing the history of our independent state.
