Lectures and master classes by a professor from Vilnius

As part of the “Visiting Professor” program, financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vaiva Hendrickson, Deputy Dean for Education and Strategic Partnerships of Vilnius University (Lithuania), was invited to NCJSC “Karaganda Medical University” from September 24 to October 6, 2023.

During her stay, the professor conducted lectures and master classes in English to students of the specialty “General Medicine”. Familiarized herself with the work of the Department of Physiology, in association with teachers of the Department of Physiology participated in the development of a syllabus for the discipline “Cardiovascular system, lymphatic system. Immune system". Vaiva Hendrickson and Vice Rector for Scientific and Clinical Work of NCJSC "KMU" E.M. Turgunov discussed the submission of proposals together with young scientists and doctoral students to participate in grant programs/international scientific research.

On October 4, 2023, the visiting professor conducted a leadership training for the teaching staff and young scientists of the university. The professor participated in the preparation of two scientific articles.
