A video studio was acquired as part of the Erasmus+ FOR21 project "FOstering the doctoR of the 21st century: education for patient-centered communication", to be implemented in 2021-2024.

The studio will be used by the School of Communication Skills Development, a division of the Center for Educational and Simulation Technologies, established at the university as part of the aforementioned project.

- Interactive video studio is one of the most modern and effective solutions for organizing distance learning and creative activities. It can be used to record interactive video instructions and video lectures, conduct video lessons and conferences using the unique possibilities of interaction with interactive presentation," explains Gulshat Kemelova, Head of the Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies of NCJSC "KMU". - This is a very valuable tool for interaction between students and teachers through digital technologies, which meets all the requirements of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on digitalization of educational processes.

Recording is carried out on a camera with support for Full HD-quality, the sound is transmitted through a specialized directing microphone. Moreover, due to sensor equipment and software it is possible to create a variety of graphic and animation effects with video and audio editing. This format makes it possible to conduct distance learning with interactivity and 3D modeling of objects, which increases students' interest in video materials. 

The interactive video studio will allow for the creation of quality educational video material, webinars and broadcasts making a minimal effort from the academic staff.

The peculiarity of the interactive studio is user-friendliness and high technological effectiveness, so it does not require the mandatory presence of an operator, and can be used by university teachers as a self-recording studio.

Digital equipment is easy to learn and the recorded video requires little or no processing. The recorded video material is intended for 5, maximum 20 minutes, which gives a good perception effect in contrast to the lengthy standard video lectures. During video recording, the teacher can use online sources, interactive elements - animated 2D and 3D objects (maps, math formulas, etc.), as well as post the content on a transparent sensor screen.

The Medical University has already started creating a video for students.
