Academic mobility in the NPJSC “Astana Medical University”

Tanashkyzy Mendibay, Assistant Professor of the School of Public Health on
the module “Epidemiology” visited the Department of “Public Health and
Epidemiology” of theNPJSC “AMU” from November 20 to 24, 2023, as part of
the academic mobility.
In practical classes students developed a set of preventive and antiepidemic measures aimed at preventing the occurrence and spread of infectious and parasitic diseases, their localization and eradication, studied the main characteristics and tendency of developing in the epidemic process of acute enteric infections among the population; priority nosologies and ways to optimize the epidemiological monitoring of them; became familiar with the skills of epidemiological survey of nidus of infection.
To summarize, academic mobility results in the sharing of knowledge and experience between teaching staff from both universities, which will be beneficial to our students' education.
