As part of the memorandum between the Karaganda Medical University and the Schmieder Clinic (Stiftung & Co.) KG (Germany) on November 30, 2023, staff of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry and Rehabilitation, Prof. N.I. Sheveleva, Associate Professor R.A. Belyaev, Assistant Professor A.A. Dubovikhin, the regular, sixth conference was held online with specialists of the Schmieder clinic (Allensbach, Germany) on the topic: "Neurorehabilitation in Germany".

Dr. Neumann, senior neurologist at the Schmieder Clinic, presented on "Brainstorming in Early Neurorehabilitation," and Prof., MD Anastasios Chatzikonstantinou, Head of the Department of Early Rehabilitation, presented on "Multimodal Complex Therapy for Parkinson's Disease and Atypical Parkinson's Syndrome."

Professor N.I. Sheveleva and Stefan Boeckle, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Schmieder Clinic, made welcoming remarks.

Participants in the conference included rehabilitation residents from Kazakhstan's universities, doctors specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, neurologists, and anesthesiologists.

The conference was organized at a high professional level, with attendees showing an interest in the panel discussion topic and the issues discussed.

It is planned to host conferences in this format in 2024.

The coherence of the work of A.A. Dubovikhin and Roman Geptner in moderating the conference should be emphasized.
