Irina Kadyrova is the winner of the “ALTYN SHIPAGER” award!

The winner of the National Medical Award “ALTYN SHIPAGER” in the nomination “The Best Young Researcher in Healthcare” was Irina Adilievna Kadyrova, Senior Researcher of the Research Laboratory of the NCJSC “Karaganda Medical University”. 

The awarding ceremony was held within the framework of the National Medical Summit “Healthy Nation” with the participation of the Minister of Healthcare Azhar Giniyat. The best medical organizations were awarded, as well as the best specialists of the sector: doctors, scientists, teachers, pharmacists, staff of nursing services and other representatives of national medicine.

Irina Adilievna Kadyrova graduated from the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at Karaganda State Medical University (KSMU) in 2009, specializing in biochemistry. During her studies she was an active student. In 2010 she passed primary specialization on “Doctor of clinical and laboratory diagnostics”. In 2011, she enrolled for a master's degree in the specialty 6M110100 “Medicine”. Within the framework of training in the master's program a thesis in English “Screening studies of factors of disorders of cerebral circulation in patients with diabetes as in Karaganda region” was completed and defended. In 2013, she enrolled for the PhD doctoral program in the specialty 6D110100 “Medicine” of KSMU, in 2017 was awarded the title of PhD doctor. From 2013-2019 I.A.  Kadyrova worked as a teacher at the Department of Physiology. In 2019, she was transferred to the laboratory of collective use of the NCJSC “KMU” as a senior researcher. In 2021,  I.A. Kadyrova was awarded the title of Associate Professor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Irina Adilievna has been studying the most pressing issues of healthcare: the development of a method of diagnosis of coronavirus infection based on MALDI-TOF MS and machine learning methods, the study of reactogenicity (side effects) and immunogenicity of vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 and their contribution to the development of Post-Covid syndrome, molecular genetic features of colorectal cancer in the Kazakh population, as well as the search for genetic markers of the effectiveness of chemotherapy in patients with colon cancer. 

She is the project manager of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan AR09259123 grant funding “Detection of SARS-CoV-2 in nasal swabs using MALDI-MS and machine learning methods”.

She and her colleagues from McMaster University (Canada) initiated a pilot study dedicated to the study of the reactogenicity, immunogenicity and safety of the Sputnik V vaccine. The study was registered in the Clinical Trials system. As a result of the collaboration, 2 articles were published in PLOS One and Scientific Reports (Nature). The key results of the collaborative work were provided in the official pages of the NCJSC “KMU”.

Together with colleagues from Ciprevo Cancer and Innovation and the University of Nice Universete Cote d'Azyr (France), a pilot study on gene expression in various pathologies has begun.

As a senior researcher, Kadyrova conducts molecular genetic and electrophoretic research methods, conducts analysis and statistical processing of data, writes publications, supervises thesis and master's thesis research on the basis of the research laboratory of the NCJSC "Karaganda Medical University". 

 In 2023, I.A. Kadyrova was awarded the badge “Excellence in Healthcare”.
