Volley-ball team of KSMU began a new season very confidently. On a traditional tournament organized by Management of physical culture and sport, together with PО «VIVAKO Union" and dedicated to the 25year of pullout of soviet troops from Afghanistan, our team showed the confident and mature game.

From 3 to 9 of October, 2014 the 1st Republican championship on rugby among student teams was held in Taldy-Kurgan. Eight collectives representing seven cities of Kazakhstan such as Astana, Almaty, Taraz, Taldy-Kurgan, Karaganda and Aktau participated in the tournament.

From 1 to 30 September the 7th-year students of “General medicine” of Karaganda state medical university in the framework of academic mobility program were trained in the clinic of Frankfurt (Oder), Germany. During the educational process we learned the algorithms of treatment and diagnostics of oncological diseases, principles of rational chemotherapy, have mastered the skills that are necessary for the diagnosis of neoplastic diseases.

The department of Surgical Disciplines №1 FCPD in conjunction with the Department of Oncology of KSMU held the master class on "Innovative technologies in malignant tumors diagnosis and treatment" on the basis of the Regional Cancer center from 06.10.14 to 10.10.14 for PHC physicians, GPs, surgeons and doctors of radiation diagnostics. 48 doctors from polyclinics of Saran, Aktas, Karkaralinsk district and Nurinskiy district completed this training.
